Modified Nationals Top 10

1 06 2010

Right, after sifting through the pictures I was having somewhat of a hard time deciding which ones to post up. Which is when it struck me that using the age old method of the Top 10 system might just work. So here we go, my Top 10 cars from The Modified Nationals 2010. There may be some controversial choices in there but I’ve tried to keep the choices are varied as possible as well as choosing from a lot of different budget ranges. So sit back, relax and please feel free to debate my choices.

Well today I am mostly feeling Honda Civic EK9’s! The JDM scene in the UK is starting to gain serious momentum and I’m looking forward to seeing how the quality of cars gets better as the scene grows.

I’d like to turn your attention to a crew from LA going by the name of BOWLS. These boys are the complete package, fashionistas, car tuners and most interestingly the builders of some of the coolest Mopeds on the planet. The Ruckus craze hasn’t yet reached the UK, but in the US, especially on the West Coast it really is kicking off right now. The modifications are becoming more and more extreme as people discover that not only are they incredibly cool, but also extremely easy to modify and cheap to run. What more could you want? I’d personally love something like this. However, I’m not sure it would have the same effect in the damp East Midlands as it would on the sun scorched streets of Los Angeles.

Stone chips are like scars on a person. They show character and experience, each one tells a story.

Get Fit with Jazzercise!

If there’s one car that just really shouldn’t work as a modified car, it’s the Honda Jazz/Fit. What should be just a mundane, boring, everyday shopping car completely transforms itself with a drop on some suitable wheels. Such a transformation.

What do you do when a shed load of Mugen parts just isn’t fancy enough for your Honda? Plate them in gold of course!

Euro wheels, JDM car, hard stance, it really, really works.
